Our company has been established 1997 and we have professional staff lead by

Civil engineer, site foreman to monitor all works. We are registered in SAIF

ZONE and HAMRIYA FZE to out construction / maintenance related works.

We carry out all construction works such as warehouses, labour camps,

Mezzanine Floor, Villas steel structure and cladding etc.In addition to above we also carry out jobs of Dry wall partitio DATED: 25^TH JUNE, 2006

Scope of Work

The works are carried out according to the option Alternative 2

The main works relating alternative 2 are as follows:

1)      Construction of new RCC stair case for the access of 1^st floor (proposed extension) from ground floor, from existing reception area.

2)      Removing the existing water proofing materials, demolishing paraphet,cleaning the projected columns from the ground floor for the proposed 1^st floor construction, removing the A/C UNITS and ducts and relocating to proper location without disturbing the routine of office work ,protecting the existing structures without damaging, with proper protection materials, removing the existing granite tiles and cleaning the existing roof area for the construction of 1^st floor according to drawing and specification.

3)      Construction of 1^st floor includes, offices,Bathrooms,meeting rooms etc:

4)      Construction of roof with decking slab,and relocation of A/C UNITS water proofing ,parapet etc:

5)      Maintenance for the existing structure if any:

Materials using for the proposed project:

1) Concrete

Grade C30/20(30N/mm2 with maximum aggregate size 20mm accordance with BS 1881 Part 120 and reinforcement of BS 4449 TYPE II)

2)Reinforcement

Reinforcement of high yield stress i.e. 460N/mm2 with BS 4449 TYPE II.

Laps min50 dia.

Fabric reinforcement complies with BS 4483.

Maximum water cement ratio is 0.45

Blinding concrete Grade 20(compressive strength 20N/mm2)

Cover for the reinforcement:

Slabs                                       -25mm

Beams and lintels                    -30mm

Columns                                   -30mm

Parapets                                    -25mm internal and 40mm External.

Steel Structure:

a)      Steel conform to class S 275 JR of BS EN 10025 min.

b)      Welds will be full profile welds

c)      Galvanized bolds will be used for main structures.

d)      Steel structure will be protected using 250 micron thick epoxy system on grit blasted surface.(welds)

e)      Permanent bracing members will be of hot rolled steel, angle plate sections etc. Bracing bays will be respected.

f)        Decking sheet for slab will be profiles 45/150-0.7mm thk.made using GI sheet having yield stress of not less than 345N/mm2.

Block Work:

a)      Blocks are of minimum compressive strength of 10N/mm2 and blocks are of hollow. (10N/mm2 at 28 days)

                             1)250mm thk for parapet walls.

                             2)200mm thk for external walls.

                             3)200mm thk for internal walls

                             4)100mm thk for internal toilets (solid blocks)

Doors and windows:

The internal doors will be of hard wood framed 38mm solid core flush door with laminated WBP both sides and hard wood lipping all round stained and polished. Width of the frames will be according to the overall thickness of the wall including finishes.

External doors shall be polyester powder coated aluminum framed infill sandwich panel and windows will be polyester powder coated aluminum framed double glazed.

GENERAL NOTES STRUCTURE STEEL

1)      Hot rolled steel Section is designed and fabricated as per B.S. 5950 – 1985.

Grade of steel = 43

2)      Structural connection bolts will be galvanized and of grade 8.8 or equivalent.

3)      All welded joints of steel connection shall be minimum 6MM thick continuous fillet weld.(Unless other specified)

4)      Purling & Girts shall be pregalvanized and of specified thickness.

5)      Flange brace shall be of galvanized angle of size 40 x 40 x 4 or as specified in the drawing.

6)      Sag Rod shall be of Minimum (12 MM DIA of Minimum Two Rows) in each bay of as specified in the drawing.

7)      Roof and Wall cladding shall be as follows:

8)      Top of Stub Column will be smooth and leveled.

9)      Anchor Bolts of normal diameter and of Grade 4.6 or equivalent shall be placed accurately (Deviation must be more than 1% or as per code) and will be straight bolt into 100 bend at bottom and minimum 100 MM projection from the top of concrete and embedded shall be as per Drawing.
